Le Petit Chateau consists of a number
of thoughtfully divided apartments, sharing a central secure
entrance with entry-phone system. The sweeping circular staircase
leads to the first floor, which is where this apartment is
situated. |

The 'chambre rouge' bedroom is spacious and comfortable and includes
ensuite shower |
| The large and comfortable apartment consists of a hallway
with two spacious double-bedrooms leading off, each with separate
en-suite room with sink and shower. There is also a separate
toilet and sink, which is accessed from the hallway. |
The spacious 'chambre vert' also has an ensuite shower

| The bedrooms each include double wardrobes,
and twin beds, which can be separated or placed together. Bedding
and towels can be provided for up to four people. |
The well-equipped open-plan kitchen has all you require to create
your own gourmet classic (as well as the essential tea and
coffee) |
The open-plan kitchen and dining area
is modern and well equipped, and has everything you would
need – whether
you wish to cook a gourmet meal or prepare a simple snack.
In the cupboard you will find enough items to make a few meals.
But pretty soon you’ll be drawn to the local markets
for fresh local produce. Not to mention the restaurants! Please

The wine rack has complimentary bottles of wine, ready and waiting for the corkscrew! And if you prefer beer, that is there too. Just help yourselves. |

hi-fi system with i-Pod doc

The high-ceilinged rooms add to the feeling
of spaciousness. The lounge area is tastefully decorated
with leather seating, intimate lighting and a media entertainment
centre. English TV is available on satellite, and there is
also a DVD player with many films to choose from.
If you like music, you will find a quality
hi-fi system with CD player and i-Pod dock. There is a comprehensive
selection of CDs, and even a record deck and plenty of vinyl
LPs (remember them?). |

lounge and you will find it impossible not to be mesmorised

With maybe a glass of local wine in hand,
you can see the Pyrenees in the distance, the Carcassonne
valley several miles away, and the rolling hills nearby.
We bet you will enjoy using the binoculars that are provided to observe the birds swooping in the distance. Yes,
this really is heaven.
Directly outside Le Petit Chateau, there
is a communal area with a picnic table and benches. In the
apartment you will find sun-loungers and chairs which you
are welcome to use. |

The exclusive
swimming pool is just a few metres away from the apartment
and is open during summer months
|
Across the lane you will find the communal
swimming pool which is open during summer months. It is exclusively
available to owners and guests of Le Petit Chateau and the
other houses within La Goutarende co-proprietry. Because
of strict French laws, the pool is fenced and children must
not be left unsupervised. All the better for added peace
and quiet.
